Caramelized maple brussel sprouts adds a completely new dimension to the brussel sprouts your grew up with. You'll be delighted to enjoy these little cabbages at the table.

- Heat frying pan on medium heat with drizzle of vegetable oil.
- Once oil is shimmering, place brussel sprouts cut side down onto the pan.
- Place lid on top of the frying pan, until brussel sprouts show a bright green colour, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and allow the brussel sprouts on pan surface to caramelize a brown color, about 2-5 minutes.
- Turn brussel sprouts to caramelize the rounded side of the brussel sprouts, about 5 minutes.
- Add bacon to the pan and generously sprinkle with steak rub and drizzle maple syrup.
- Toss to combine. Serve hot.
